Florence Steele Cook wedding dress

Grey taffeta 2 piece wedding dress with mother of pearl buttons and net and tatted lace cuff and neckline jabot decoration. Also has detached bustle. Notation with dress says: "Florence Steele Cook wedding dress. Millian Fred Cook first wife. Mother of Fred R. Cook and George Steele Cook. Property of George Steele Cook." The wedding was in 1874.

19th Century scythe embedded in pine tree.

Scythe left by Augustus Bliss of Blissville in 1862. Augustus Bliss hung this scythe in a young pine tree in 1862 and went to fight in the Civil War. He never returned. His father Milton Bliss, discovered the scythe a year or so later and from sentiment, he let the pine tree grow around the scythe, erecting a railing around the base of the tree. In the hurricane of 1938, the tree was blown down. A year or so later, Warwick historian Charles Morse became interested in the story of the scythe, found the felled tree and acquired it for the Town of Warwick.

Draw shave used for shaping wood. Labeled: J.E. Minott & Co. Warwick, MA., Hedge, tool, and iron forger, formerly Asa Wheeler hedge tool business located in the north part of Warwick., which Minott purchased in 1849 from Wheeler.
