Message from Alma tells of Joe going to last rehearsal, hoping for favorable weather for the show.

Message with postmark dated 1908, " Just a line to wish you many happy return of Feb. 17. That your new year may be happy and prosperous one is the wish of your friends at Maple Grove. Much love to all from your sister Alma (?)"

Sister writes of the dreadful heat (Sept 29th) but has made sweet pickles of seed cucumbers and ironed starched clothes.

The note tells of Anna coming for Old Home Days and asks her sister to be with them as well.
The bottom photo shows "Lake Moore from Shepardson Place "Lake View Farm", per note on front and part of the message (sister to sister) "taken just below Geo. Shepardson's house" Mentioned people going by in their new auto.

Two photo postcards (23 and 24), the top shows Old Tavern also called the Big House, south of Ohlson house, 1896 . Message to sister from sister, postmarked Feb 17, 1903, "sleighing decidedly poor....expect to go to Worcester and presume I shall return same day."
Bottom shows Bee Hive on west side Orange Rd, burned 1896 (same as above but front view)

Two photo postcards, (21 and 22). The top is the junction of Hastings Pond Road and Route 78 South, and the note on back is postmarked Oct 3, 1907, concerns about frost coming, "picked green tomatoes last night..."
Bottom shows Boot shop, Hotel and Cook House, 1880 or 1893, notation on front says "Look at the Town Hall", note on back mentions Nathan Hastings died, had a shock this morning, the boys are in school again..."

The bottom shows Mt. Grace from Hastings Pond, 1907. There is a note that takes up the entire side and the writer mentions that the photo was " taken near the Hastings house, just a little west and a little beyond."
